We are all born at a particular time and place, with all the planets, moon and stars at a specific location in the celestial sky. This constellation produces a chart, with all the planets in a circle surrounding us on the earth. The relationships between the planets and the angles or aspects, give us a personal natal chart.
These unique placements explain our native personality traits. For example; father and mother issues, luck, what we need to learn, how we communicate or what/where our anger stems from and where we get our motivational drive.

Astrology ascribes meaning to the placement of the sun, the moon and the planets within 12 sections of the sky, for example; the signs of the zodiac.
You likely know your sun sign the most famous zodiac sign, even if you’re not an astrology buff. It’s based on where the sun was on the day of your birth. But the placement of the moon , (your soul, your feelings, your mother) and each of the other planets at the time and location of your brith adds additional shades to the picture of you painted by your “birth chart”.

Transits compare the planets in the sky at any given time to the planets in your birth chart. Transits are general. Transits can explain the timing of events, the potentialities of outcomes and the length of time a person may be effected by Transits. In other words, Transits are what the collective is going through in the mundane world. Specific Transits can effect the client more than others. This is the magic of Astrology.
If you look at angles or aspects in your natal chart, one planet transiting can have an enormous effect on multiple things going on in your psyche. Progressions are cycles that can be tracked from birth until death. Progressions are personal. Progressions allow astrologers to put the timeline of your life potential under a microscope for any given year. This ability to determine Progressions to Transits can fine tune significant life events, almost to an exact time.

Solar Return is a chart calculated for the exact moment when the Sun returns to its natal position (within 2 days of one’s birthday). This chart is in effect only for the course of a year—approximately from birthday to birthday. A Solar Return gives the client a theme as to what the year or next 6 months will be for the heart and soul. It is especially important to have an accurate birth time when working with Return charts.
